Thanks to its 4-11/16-inch opening capacity, 1-5/16-inch depth, and 4-inch jaw width, this vise delivers the ability to firmly hold larger materials and the flexibility of working on irregularly shaped parts, making it equally suited to the serious home workshop and the industrial fabrication facility. The Wilton cam action drill press vise features a simple push-and-pull slide operation that quickly adjusts the jaw opening. With a cam system that advances the jaw 3/32 of an inch forward, the Wilton drill press vise locks in work securely. A convenient top mounted lever locks in the jaw while applying a variable force that adjusts from 400-1100-pounds for maximum holding power when needed.
